Cricket is a 7 year old Morgan cross mare who was rescued from the September 2010 Enumclaw auction. She is approximately 13.3hh, and has a dark chestnut coat. She had a foal pulled from her right before the auction and developed mastitis shortly after we rescued her. She is very sweet, and was an angel during treatment of her rehab issues including a skin condition that forced her to rub her mane and tail down to the skin. She also had horribly overgrown feet and underweight condition, but has bounced back with great speed. She is attending drill practice and is proving to be solid under saddle. We’re working to hone her skills and build her muscle tone. Cricket is a “people horse” and much prefers the company of humans vs. other horses. She deserves to be the apple of someone’s eye and would be an amazing child’s horse.
